Qure.ai Announces World’s First AI-Powered Paediatric TB Screening Tool to Extend Proactive Reach from Birth to 15 Years

Diagnosing TB in children has long been a challenge, but that is set to change. qXR from Qure.ai is the first AI-enabled chest X-ray tool to receive regulatory clearance, earning CE Class IIb certification for children aged 0–3 years and complementing its existing capabilities for children up to 15 years, effectively covering the entire childhood spectrum. Qure.ai, a global leader in digital healthcare, is already cited twice in the World Health Organization's tuberculosis (TB) screening guidelines. With this clearance, it can now help health systems and national TB programs identify children at highest risk of active TB even in the absence of symptoms.

Paediatric TB is a silent crisis that affects children, globally. In 2023, close to 1.3 million children under 15 fell ill with TB, representing about 12% of total cases worldwide. Children under 5 are particularly vulnerable due to underdeveloped immune systems, bearing the highest burden and accounting for more than 75% of TB-related deaths in this age group. Tragically, close to 200,000 children died of TB in 2023, most of them under five. Moreover, drug-resistant TB, including extensively drug-resistant forms, is rising among children, creating an urgent public health challenge.

Diagnosing TB in children is notoriously difficult. Young children often have paucibacillary TB and this is further complicated by their inability to produce sputum, which makes traditional diagnostic methods less reliable and delays treatment. Chest X-rays provide a practical supplement, allowing clinicians to detect TB even when sputum samples are unavailable.

AI-enabled chest X-rays take this a step further. They can screen large numbers of children quickly, prioritize high-risk cases, help detect asymptomatic TB, reduce clinician workload, and deliver immediate, actionable results. By combining the reliability of imaging with AI-driven speed and scalability, health systems can intervene earlier and allocate resources more effectively, ultimately saving lives.

Commenting on the announcement, Dr. Shibu Vijayan, Chief Medical Officer, Global Health at Qure.ai, said: "Achieving CE clearance for AI-enabled Chest X-ray screening in children is a major step forward in the fight against paediatric TB. The youngest children have long been the hardest to reach and the most vulnerable. With this tool, we are proud to equip healthcare systems worldwide with a scalable, reliable way to detect TB early, prioritize care, and ultimately save lives."

Additionally, Qure has implemented the Treatment Decision Algorithm A (TDA), as outlined in the WHO’s “Consolidated Guidelines on Tuberculosis: Module 5 – Management of Tuberculosis in Children and Adolescents” (2022), within its care coordination platform, qTrack. This functionality enables structured data entry and automated computation of algorithmic parameters to support clinical diagnosis of tuberculosis in children who are bacteriologically negative or unable to undergo microbiological testing.

TB is not confined to low- and middle-income countries. In the WHO European Region, children under 15 accounted for 4.3% of new and relapsed TB cases — a 10% increase compared with 2022. In the EU/EEA, paediatric TB cases have risen for the third consecutive year. Children are highly vulnerable to severe forms of TB, such as TB meningitis and miliary TB. Also, the window from infection to active disease and severe, disseminated TB is much shorter in children than in adults. Therefore, early detection and prompt treatment are crucial to reducing morbidity, mortality, and transmission.

Fortytwo Introduces ‘Swarm Inference’: A New AI Architecture That Outperforms Frontier Models on Key Benchmarks

Fortytwo research lab today announced benchmarking results for its new AI architecture, known as Swarm Inference. Across key AI evaluation tests — including GPQA Diamond, MATH-500, AIME 2024, and LiveCodeBench — the Fortytwo networked model outperformed OpenAI’s ChatGPT 5, Google Gemini 2.5 Pro, Anthropic Claude Opus 4.1, xAI Grok 4 and DeepSeek R1, demonstrating stronger reasoning abilities even under conditions where other frontier models fail.

Swarm Inference operates through a network of interconnected models, answering as one. The network currently consists of hundreds of nodes, run by a community of AI enthusiasts worldwide. Each node hosts a small language model (SLM) selected by its operator. The SLM can be fully custom-built specialized model, a fine-tuned version of an existing model, or a publicly available open-source model.

When a prompt is introduced, multiple nodes respond, their outputs are ranked by each other, and the highest quality answers are combined. To the outside observer, the network behaves like a single model, though in reality it emerges from the coordination of hundreds of independent SLMs.

To ensure the model’s accuracy under varied conditions, Fortytwo also conducted additional benchmark tests that included extraneous context alongside standard benchmark prompts.

This type of testing is similar to methods used in university exams and olympiads and is known as ‘extraneous information’ problems where the conditions include additional irrelevant information that is not required for solving the task. This helps determine whether the student genuinely understands the essence of the problem or is simply applying familiar formulas mechanically.

In this scenario, frontier AI models showed steep declines in accuracy, often getting trapped in repetitive reasoning loops or misled by irrelevant details. In contrast, Fortytwo’s Swarm Inference maintained stable accuracy, demonstrating a better alternative to individual LLM reasoning. By coordinating peer-ranked responses across diverse models, Swarm Inference enables intelligence to scale beyond the current limits of reasoning approaches and opens a new path for reliable problem-solving.

Fortytwo’s Swarm Inference demonstrates that intelligence can arise from a decentralized network of small, diverse models, coordinated by peer validation, rather than from ever-larger centralized systems.

"These results represent more than just outperforming frontier models; they mark the emergence of a new approach to building AI,” said Ivan Nikitin, co-founder and CEO of Fortytwo. “This breakthrough paves the way for scalable, reliable, and community-driven artificial intelligence — establishing a foundation for the next era of AI.”

Fortytwo will continue to grow the network, enabling fully open participation by node operators, custom model providers, and data scientists. The team is pushing for even greater accuracy and intelligence across the swarm, with an API release planned later this year to rival frontier AI companies in the most demanding use cases: coding, deep research, and advanced reasoning.

About Fortytwo

Fortytwo is a decentralized AI network that introduces a new type of AI inference, called Swarm Inference, where small language models running on consumer-grade hardware collaborate to achieve scale and reasoning capabilities beyond leading AI models. The entire network acts as a single model, becoming more powerful and efficient with each new node, while operating in a permissionless, transparent, and censorship-resistant manner. Anyone can contribute by running a node, with node performance ratings recorded on the Monad blockchain for evaluation and security. Developers can access frontier AI reasoning through API or on-chain, while node operators are rewarded for their participation. For more information, visit fortytwo.network.

USLege’s ‘Best in Government Affairs Awards’ Celebrates Heroes of the Texas Capitol with State’s First Peer-Nominated Government Affairs Honor

For the first time in Texas history, the professionals who keep the state government running have been recognized, not with sponsorships or politics, but with genuine, peer-nominated awards.

Hosted by USLege, the inaugural Best in Government Affairs Awards honored legislative staff, lobbyists, association leaders, and communications professionals across the state. In a crowded, high-stakes Capitol ecosystem, these are the people who do the hard work that often goes unseen, and this year, their peers made sure it didn’t go unrecognized.

Unlike traditional industry awards, this was not pay-to-play. There were no entry fees, no advertising packages.

Just hundreds of real nominations submitted by peers across the political spectrum, recognizing professionalism, excellence, innovation, and integrity in state policy work.

Why Texans Should Care

Texas has long been known for its bold politics. But behind every headline is a legislative staffer running point on logistics, a lobbyist threading a bipartisan needle, or an association leader translating policy into action for entire industries.

These are the people:

  • Who make policy happen after hours
  • Who lead with trust and respect
  • Who build coalitions, manage crises, and drive outcomes

“In this industry, the highest achievement isn’t just what you’ve passed, it’s whether your peers want you by their side on the next bill. That kind of trust, diplomacy, and day-in-day-out decorum is hard-earned. And it’s exactly what these awards are here to honor,” said Laura Carr, co-founder of USLege.

What Makes This Award Different

  • Peer-nominated only: Nominees had to be submitted by colleagues, counterparts, and collaborators who’ve worked with them directly.

Moonbet Study Shows How Gambling Affects the Brain and Why Online Platforms Must Do More

Moonbet, a leading online crypto casino, recently released the results of a study examining how gambling affects the brain and why online platforms must do more to identify and help customers who may be struggling with gambling addiction.

Highlights

  • The brain responds powerfully to uncertainty and near-misses. That is why “just one more” feels rational at the moment. (PMC)
  • Harm is not rare. Millions struggle each year. Most do not get help. (National Council on Problem Gambling)
  • Tools exist that work. CBT has strong evidence; MI helps many, especially early. If you feel the loop tightening, seek care and set limits now. (PMC)

What brain science actually says

Modern neuroscience treats gambling disorder as a real addiction. In 2013, it moved into the same diagnostic chapter as substance addictions in the DSM-5 because the brain changes and clinical course overlap: heightened cue-reactivity in reward circuits, impaired top-down control, and persistent relapse risk. Large reviews and imaging studies show the pattern clearly. (PMC)

Two mechanisms drive the loop:

  1. Reward prediction and dopamine. Uncertain rewards create stronger “teaching signals” than predictable ones. Anticipation spikes dopamine in striatal circuits; over time the bet itself becomes the trigger. Near-misses can recruit the same win-related circuitry and push further play. Human fMRI and laboratory models repeatedly show this, and pharmacology studies link the effect to D2 pathways. (PMC)

  2. Control systems go offline. With progression, prefrontal regions that support planning and inhibition show reduced control over impulses. Imaging reviews in gambling disorder mirror findings from drug addiction: stronger cue-reactivity and weaker control predicts worse outcomes. (PMC)

Table 1. How gambling engages the brain

System: Striatum and midbrain dopamine

  • What happens in gambling: Big spikes in response to uncertainty and “almost wins.”
  • Why it matters: Teaches the brain to chase the next pull even after losses (PMC)

System: Insula and salience networks

  • What happens in gambling: Creates “It was close” and “I’m due” feelings.
  • Why it matters: Fuels distorted beliefs and chasing behavior (near-miss effect) (PMC)

System: Prefrontal control

  • What happens in gambling: Reduced top-down braking under cues and stress.
  • Why it matters: Makes it harder to stop and easier to binge (PMC)

How common is harm

Best national estimates from the National Council on Problem Gambling suggest about 1% of U.S. adults meet criteria for a severe gambling problem in a given year, and another 2–3% have mild to moderate problems. That is millions of people, most of whom never get help.

Table 2. U.S. burden by the numbers

Measure: Adults with severe gambling problems (annual)

  • Estimate: ~1% (≈ 2.5 million)

Measure: Adults with mild to moderate problems

  • Estimate: ~2–3% (≈ 5–8 million)

Measure: Help-seeking

Why online products supercharge the loop

The biology above did not come from apps, but apps remove friction. A browser creates more “loops” per hour, while design patterns mimic casino schedules: infinite scroll, intermittent reinforcement, near-miss visuals, and push cues. When you multiply loops against any non-zero house edge, expected loss grows with time. Our earlier reporting showed online players generating more volume in short windows; independent reviews link the online channel to greater time on device and higher losses for a subset of users. (American Psychological Association)

Expected loss ≈ house edge × total wagered

Thus, more loops drive the total up, even if the edge looks small.

What actually helps

Evidence-based care exists:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) reduces gambling frequency, intensity and harm across multiple trials and reviews. (PMC)
  • Motivational interviewing (MI) can reduce days gambled and short-term spending, especially when readiness to change is low, though long-term effects vary by study. (PubMed)

Table 3. Treatments with evidence

Approach: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • What it targets: Triggers, distortions, chasing, money/time limits
  • Evidence snapshot: Strong post-treatment reductions across meta-analyses and reviews (PMC)

Approach: MI (Motivational Interviewing)

  • What it targets: Ambivalence, readiness to change
  • Evidence snapshot: Significant short-term reductions in gambling frequency and spend; mixed results beyond 3–12 months (PubMed)

What most platforms are not doing

Most online casinos still emphasize “bonuses” and celebrity streams rather than transparent math and treatment pathways. Few present per-title RTP alongside a plain-language “house edge” label. Even fewer link to real-time help, self-exclusion, or deposit-limit tools prominently. Given the brain science and population burden above, this gap is hard to defend.

What Moonbet says it will do differently

The company states three commitments based on the evidence:

  1. Publish the math and proofs. Per-game RTP and house edge will be shown in plain language. Outcomes and payouts will be verifiable on-chain, so players can replay a result instead of trusting a screenshot. (Earlier whitepapers describe near-zero-edge titles that target about 99.7–100% RTP, shifting outcomes toward variance rather than a hidden tilt.)

  2. Fund treatment, not just disclaimers. Moonbet will donate a share of earnings to licensed gambling-addiction centers and publish the yearly totals, so funding is transparent and predictable.

  3. Aim the product at adults with disposable income. The company’s public position is that it does not want to market to people in financial distress. The target audience is experienced adults who treat gambling as paid entertainment, understand volatility, and can afford losses. That includes firm ad guardrails, visible self-exclusion and deposit-limit tools, and refusing creatives that glamorizes “get rich quick.”

Moonbet also acknowledges an industry reality: not many people become wealthy from gambling and high-profile streams often feature subsidized or sponsored balances. The company’s stated goal is to replace marketing theater with receipts and keep vulnerable users away from high-risk funnels.

Center for Freedom and Prosperity: Peace in Ukraine Could Safeguard Trillions in U.S. Economic Stability and Unlock $20 Billion in Annual Exports

A compelling new report from the Center for Freedom and Prosperity Foundation, "The Economic Benefits of Peace in Ukraine" by Daniel J. Mitchell and Robert O’Quinn, reveals that ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict could inject over $20 billion annually into U.S. exports, secure hundreds of billions in reconstruction contracts, and protect the dollar’s global reserve status — averting trillions in potential economic losses.

The analysis highlights a staggering $520 billion opportunity for American firms in rebuilding Ukraine, alongside reclaiming $100 billion in lost energy ventures like ExxonMobil’s Arctic projects. Boeing stands to lose $50 billion to $100 billion if sanctions persist, driving nations toward China’s aviation sector. Meanwhile, continued conflict threatens the dollar’s “exorbitant privilege,” risking a 1% interest rate hike that could add $300 billion to the U.S.’s $30 trillion debt burden. “Peace is an economic lifeline for America,” Mitchell states. With the Trump Administration pushing negotiations, this report urges swift action to halt a war costing U.S. industries dearly.

An upcoming robot dog named Babo drew huge crowds in the heart of Paris last week. Developed by Vbot, a consumer technology company specializing in household robots, it features a sleek build and natural voice interaction. Babo quickly became a conversation starter among passersby who enthusiastically engaged with it — asking questions, snapping pictures, and walking alongside it.

Unlike many consumer robots, Babo is designed as a fashion-forward, companion-style device that integrates into households' existing routines. It doesn't come with remotes or a complex UI; users converse with it through natural human language.

Babo is designed to assist with everyday tasks, such as offering companionship for coffee runs, neighborhood strolls, or casual meetups. Its slim design makes it ideal to be taken out in urban settings and a sturdy build ensures it's able to tackle a variety of terrains. Babo can assist with caregiving for the elderly, carrying bags to take some load off its users, or holding a camera to capture the best moments of the day.

With spatial and relational memory, it recognizes family members, learns their preferences, and responds to spoken commands.

Babo's utility extends to sparking an emotional connection with users by mimicking natural human conversation. It offers a range of realistic facial expressions and sound effects, all of which are impressively vivid and lively.

The highly positive public reaction in Paris reflects broader interest in approachable household robots that engage emotionally as well as functionally. Top 10 Best Hair Transplant Clinics in Turkey (2025)

Each year, over half a million men and women travel to Turkey for a hair transplant, according to the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). This global reputation isn't just because of the highly affordable hair transplant in Turkey cost — often 60% lower than in Europe or the United States — but because of the outstanding skill of its surgeons, cutting-edge medical techniques, and world-class aftercare.

The hair transplant in Turkey cost continues to draw thousands of international patients. In the US and Western Europe, the same surgery can range from $6,500 to $11,000 , while in Turkey, patients can expect full treatment packages for $2,000 to $3,800. These all-inclusive packages are their key attraction: they typically cover the procedure (FUE Sapphire or DHI), 4- or 5-star hotel stays, private transfers, post-surgery medication, and follow-up appointments. This balance of value and quality is why Turkey remains the world’s favorite destination for hair restoration.

Among Turkey’s leading clinics, Hermest Hair Clinic has become an international benchmark. Known for introducing the UNIQUE FUE® technique and the AIS Protocol, the clinic combines precision, artistry, and patient safety to deliver some of the most natural results in the field.

How We Ranked These Clinics: Our 2025 Methodology

To find the best hair transplant in Turkey, our editorial team analyzed over 40 clinics based on criteria vital for international patients, including:

  • Surgeon Expertise & Certification: We verified that surgeons are internationally certified (e.g., ISHRS) and are directly involved in the critical stages of the surgery, not just technicians.
  • Safety Protocols & Technology: Clinics were evaluated on their safety standards (like Hermest's AIS Protocol) and their mastery of modern techniques like Sapphire FUE and DHI.
  • Verifiable Patient Results: We reviewed unedited before-and-after photos and long-term international patient reviews for consistency and natural-looking results.
  • Transparency: Clinics offering clear, all-inclusive pricing without hidden fees were ranked higher.

Hair Transplant in Turkey Safe? What US Patients Must Know

The primary concern for US patients is how clinics can offer services 60% cheaper than in the US. The price difference is not due to a lack of quality but to Turkey's lower cost of living, lower operational overhead, and government support for medical tourism.

However, patients must be cautious. The industry is not without risks. Low-cost "black market" clinics often use uncertified technicians to perform the entire surgery, leading to poor results or health complications.

To ensure safety, you must:

  • Confirm your surgeon is a certified doctor who will perform the implantation.
  • Choose a clinic that operates in an accredited hospital, not a small office.
  • Verify the clinic provides comprehensive post-op care and follow-up.

This ranking highlights clinics that meet these high standards.

Top 10 Best Hair Transplant Clinics in Turkey

This ranking of the Top 10 Hair Transplant Clinics in Turkey highlights each clinic’s approach, technologies, and cost, helping future patients choose trusted specialists for reliable and lasting results.

The clinic’s packages include VIP airport transfers, 4-star hotel stay, multilingual coordination, and full aftercare. Hair transplant in Turkey cost starts around $2,500, varying with technique and graft number.

2. Nimclinic – Istanbul (Dr. Musa Yetim)

Combining medical precision and accessibility, Nimclinic under Dr. Musa Yetim has built a reputation for transparency and trust. All stages of surgery are performed by in-house medical professionals, ensuring safe and consistent results.

4. HLC Clinic – Ankara (Dr. Özgür Öztan)

Away from Istanbul’s busy medical scene, HLC Clinic in Ankara offers a quieter, more personalized experience. Under Dr. Özgür Öztan, the clinic specializes in manual FUE — a technique that relies entirely on the surgeon’s hands for maximum accuracy. Typical cost starts from $3,500.

5. Serkan Aygin Clinic – Istanbul (Dr. Serkan Aygin)

Innovation meets expertise at Vera Clinic, led by Dr. Kazim Sipahi. The clinic integrates artificial intelligence for follicular mapping, enabling surgeons to plan denser hairlines with precision. Pricing begins around $3,000, including accommodation and post-op kits.

9. Dr. Cinik Hair Hospital – Istanbul (Dr. Emrah Cinik)

Dr. Emrah Cinik is one of the most established names in the industry. At Dr. Cinik Hair Hospital, his team offers advanced Sapphire FUE and DHI techniques focused on dense, natural results. The hair transplant cost starts around $3,200, including 4-star lodging.

10. Smile Hair Clinic – Istanbul (Dr. Gökay Bilgin & Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan)

Founded by Dr. Gökay Bilgin and Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan, Smile Hair Clinic stands out for its high-end environment. Known for combining medical precision with hospitality, the clinic performs Sapphire FUE and DHI procedures. Packages begin at $3,300, covering boutique hotel accommodation.

A Final Checklist for International Patients

Choosing where to have your procedure isn’t just about price. The best hair transplant in Turkey experience depends on trust, transparency, and total care.

  • Make sure your clinic and surgeon are internationally certified (like ISHRS).
  • Confirm that the surgeon personally performs the implantation, not just technicians.
  • Ask about aftercare: washing, healing checks, and round-the-clock communication are critical.
  • Plan to stay three to five days; reputable clinics will take care of your hotel and airport transfers.

Conclusion

Turkey continues to shine in 2025 as the global hub for medical hair restoration, blending innovation with accessible pricing. The 10 clinics in this guide prove that patients do not need to compromise between quality and cost.

Standing out among them as our 2025 Editor's Choice is Hermest Hair Clinic (Istanbul). With over 12,000 successful surgeries, its development of the UNIQUE FUE® technique and the comprehensive AIS Protocol has redefined what precision and patient safety mean in hair transplantation. The clinic’s patient-first model and consistent, natural-looking outcomes explain why it’s recognized worldwide by those seeking the best hair transplant in Turkey.

Gaming Sector Making a Stir in 2025

The global gaming industry is entering a pivotal phase in 2025, marked by innovation, regulatory change, and a strategic focus on emerging markets. As digital technologies advance and countries reform gambling frameworks, operators are rethinking their business models to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Much of this transformation is being driven by regulation. Governments are tightening oversight while also opening doors to new forms of legal gaming. This dual effect has created both challenges and opportunities. Operators now face stricter compliance requirements, but these also establish a more stable foundation for ethical, long-term growth. In regions where rules are being clarified, the market is expanding at a record pace, particularly across Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

Technology is the driving force behind this transformation. The sector’s reliance on advanced digital infrastructure is deepening as companies deploy scalable platforms to manage growing user volumes and regulatory complexity. Artificial intelligence is central to these systems, improving fraud detection, tailoring player experiences, and streamlining operations. The introduction of 5G connectivity is further accelerating this shift, enabling faster, more immersive gameplay on mobile devices. This technological revolution is not just a trend, but a gateway to a more exciting and immersive gaming experience.

At the same time, marketing in 2025 is increasingly data-driven. Operators are moving away from broad, one-size-fits-all campaigns toward personalised strategies that speak directly to individual interests. The use of advanced analytics allows brands to deliver more relevant content, improving engagement and retention rates. Social media influencers are also playing a greater role in shaping brand credibility and reaching younger audiences. This applies across the board, so even bingo games online, lottery and scratch cards have seen positive stats as operators modernise their approach and extend their appeal to new demographics.

Emerging markets are proving to be the game-changer in this year’s global expansion plans. In South America, countries such as Brazil and Argentina are formalising gambling regulations, unlocking billions in potential revenue. Analysts expect the region’s gambling industry to grow at a compound annual rate exceeding 20 per cent as internet access broadens and sports betting gains mainstream acceptance. Across Africa, nations including Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya are witnessing a surge in mobile-based gaming, with total online revenue expected to reach roughly $2 billion by the end of the year. This growth potential is a beacon of hope for the industry's future.

Asia remains another major growth frontier. The Philippines, for example, is updating its gaming laws to attract international operators while maintaining oversight. With a vast population and a rapidly expanding middle class, the region offers unmatched potential for market diversification and long-term revenue stability.

In this period of global recalibration, strategic adaptability is not just an option, but the industry’s most valuable asset. Companies that combine responsible practices with advanced technology and local insight are set to define the next chapter of gaming. 2025 is shaping up as a decisive year, not only for profits but for how the gaming sector repositions itself for a more connected and accountable future. The urgency of strategic adaptability is clear, and those who embrace it will lead the way in shaping the industry's future.

How Streaming Services Are Changing the Sports Experience for Fans

Sports viewing has undergone a remarkable shift in recent years, with new platforms changing how fans connect with their favorite teams and athletes. The move away from traditional television has opened up fresh opportunities for leagues, broadcasters, and audiences alike, reshaping the business and culture of sports in the United States and beyond.

How New Platforms Are Changing Sports Access

For decades, watching live games meant tuning in to cable or network television. Today, a growing number of fans turn to streaming services and mobile apps to follow the action. These platforms offer flexible viewing options, allowing users to watch on their own schedules and devices. As a result, sports organizations are reaching broader audiences, including younger viewers who may not subscribe to conventional TV packages.

This shift has prompted leagues and broadcasters to rethink their strategies. Exclusive streaming deals, interactive features, and behind-the-scenes content are now common. The rise of companion apps and real-time notifications keeps fans engaged before, during, and after games. This evolution has also led to new forms of fan interaction, from live chats to social media integration, creating a more immersive experience.

How Monetization and Fan Engagement Are Changing

With the expansion of streaming, sports organizations are exploring innovative ways to generate revenue and keep fans invested. Subscription models, pay-per-view events, and premium content packages have become standard offerings. In addition, partnerships with technology companies have enabled advanced features such as multi-angle replays and personalized highlights, further enhancing the viewing experience.

One notable development within this ecosystem is the integration of services like online sportsbooks, which provide additional layers of engagement for fans. These platforms leverage real-time data and analytics to offer dynamic features, reflecting the broader trend of using technology to deepen fan involvement. As the industry continues to adapt, the balance between accessibility, exclusivity, and interactivity remains a central focus for stakeholders.

What to Know About Regulatory Issues and Industry Standards

The rapid growth of new sports media platforms has brought regulatory challenges to the forefront. Policymakers and industry leaders are working to establish guidelines that protect consumers while fostering innovation. Issues such as data privacy, content rights, and fair competition are under close scrutiny, with ongoing discussions about how best to support a healthy, competitive marketplace.

To maintain the highest level of accuracy and neutrality in reporting on streaming sports media and online sportsbooks, adherence to established journalistic standards ensures the information presented is factual, balanced, and transparent. As the landscape continues to evolve, clear standards and responsible reporting will play a vital role in informing the public and supporting informed decision-making.

The transformation of sports media is far from complete. As technology and consumer preferences continue to change, the industry will likely see further innovation in how games are delivered and experienced. For fans, this means more choices and deeper connections with the sports they love, making this an exciting time to follow the evolution of sports entertainment.

The collaboration brings together MTN's extensive reach with KnowRoaming's over 15 years of expertise in eSIM connectivity, delivering a service that makes staying connected abroad simpler, faster, and more cost-effective. Whether traveling for business or leisure, MTN Travel eSIM eliminates one of the most frustrating parts of travel: unreliable or expensive mobile data.

Seamless connectivity for travelers

With MTN Travel eSIM, customers no longer need to buy or swap physical SIM cards when they travel. Instead, a digital SIM profile can be downloaded directly to their device and activated within minutes. Once installed, the eSIM remains on the device, making it easy to add or top up data plans as needed.

This eliminates the hassle of hunting for local SIM cards on arrival, while ensuring reliable access to affordable data. From quick business trips to long adventures, travelers can choose from global, regional, or country-specific plans that activate instantly, meaning no airport queues, no SIM swaps.

"This partnership unlocks a new level of freedom and convenience for travelers across South Africa," said Mark Collie, CEO of KnowRoaming. "By combining MTN's reach and KnowRoaming's expertise, we're ensuring travelers can access affordable, reliable data wherever their journey takes them."

At the heart of the MTN and KnowRoaming partnership is a commitment to convenience, flexibility, and transparency, principles that reflect the evolving expectations of today's connected traveler.

Convenience means eliminating friction, with instant eSIM activation that ensures seamless connectivity the moment a customer arrives in a new destination.

Flexibility recognizes that travel is not one-size-fits-all, offering a spectrum of fixed and unlimited plans tailored to everything from short business trips to extended international stays.

Transparency underscores the importance of trust, with clear prepaid pricing that removes uncertainty and reinforces confidence in the digital travel experience.

Together, these pillars set a new benchmark for how global connectivity should work: simple, adaptable, and reliable.

"Connectivity should be simple and borderless," said Jason Probert, MTN's General Manager, Digital Services. "Through this partnership with KnowRoaming, we're making it easier for our travellers to stay connected across the world, while also placing South Africa at the centre of eSIM adoption."

Positioned for growth

The global demand for eSIMs is accelerating, with GSMA predicting that more than half of all smartphones shipped by 2030 will be eSIM-enabled. By partnering with KnowRoaming, MTN is ensuring it can meet demand, while empowering customers with more choice and control over their connectivity.

Available to both MTN and non-MTN customers, MTN Travel eSIM reflects a shared commitment to innovation and customer-first solutions, positioning MTN as a leader in next-generation mobile connectivity across South Africa and beyond.

Gartner Recognizes Flowable in 2025 Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies

Flowable, a global provider of enterprise automation and orchestration software, has been recognized in the inaugural 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies.

The Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. According to the Gartner report, "Business orchestration and automation technology platforms unify process orchestration, connectivity and agentic features to enable enterprise-wide automation."

"We are honored to be included in Gartner's first Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies," said Micha Kiener, chief technology officer and co-founder at Flowable. "We believe this recognition highlights our continued focus on dynamic case management, orchestration, and natively embedded agentic AI that help enterprises in regulated industries run complex work with adaptability and governance at enterprise scale."

Flowable's agentic case platform coordinates people, AI agents, and business processes in a unified, governed environment that delivers advanced intelligent automation, control, and autonomy. "Our platform is designed to coordinate humans and AI in a responsible, governed way-ensuring agility, auditability, and scale," Kiener added.

The company's capabilities including agentic case management and its orchestration framework are aligned with Gartner's definition of a Business Orchestration and Automation Technology (BOAT) platform. Flowable enables enterprises to model and automate complex, exception-driven processes across sectors such as banking, insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing. This approach ensures that critical business operations remain compliant and efficient even in highly regulated environments.

Flowable's architecture also embeds responsible AI orchestration within its core, allowing organizations to safely integrate multi-agent systems while maintaining governance and transparency. Built on open automation standards — BPMN, CMMN, and DMN — the Flowable platform promotes interoperability, flexibility, and innovation without vendor lock-in.

Botanic Tonics’ feel free CLASSIC Climbs Past Household Brands to Claim No. 1 Spot at a Top Five National U.S. Convenience Retailer

Botanic Tonics, the leader in kava-centric botanical supplements, today announced a significant milestone: feel free CLASSIC®, its flagship noble kava root and natural kratom leaf tonic, has achieved the No. 1 ranking in the Energy and Supplement category at a top five national convenience store retailer (source: CSP, “Top 202 Convenience Stores 2025”). This ranking is according to Nielsen IQ data for the week ending October 11, 2025, and is based on store sales across the retailers’ nationwide network.

This milestone marks a major inflection point, as feel free CLASSIC is the first product not owned or distributed by Coca-Cola or Red Bull to claim the No. 1 spot in the Energy and Supplement category by dollar volume.

In just over one year in distribution with this top U.S. retailer, Botanic Tonics is now outperforming energy and supplement brands at their core retail channel and becoming the top performing SKU, outperforming all SKU’s from household names such as Red Bull and Monster Energy.

Meeting Consumer Demand

“Partnering with national chains was the logical next step for Botanic Tonics. Claiming the No. 1 spot in the Energy and Supplement category validates what we've believed all along: consumers are ready for something different,” said Cameron Korehbandi, CEO of Botanic Tonics. “Overtaking the category's pioneers was not our goal when we entered the market. People tried the product, preferred it, and the data reflects that. We're witnessing the early stages of a major shift in how people think about energy and focus, and Botanic Tonics is driving that change."

In under five years, Botanic Tonics has evolved from a regional startup to a national brand that is going toe-to-toe with legacy energy brands and winning.

All Natural Ingredients Backed by Quality and Innovation

This performance trend is playing out across retailers nationwide as consumers seek functional beverages that combine all natural botanical ingredients with proven results. feel free CLASSIC combines two botanicals with centuries of traditional use. Made with noble kava root and natural whole kratom leaf — no synthetic ingredients, no alcohol, and no chemical extracts — feel free CLASSIC delivers calm, focused energy that supports both productivity and well-being
