International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) will roll out Laurel to all 800 fee earners across its international network, establishing a single, firmwide platform for recording time and understanding how work happens.
WFW selected Laurel as its global AI Time platform following an extensive and market-wide evaluation process.
The firm identified Laurel as the platform best positioned to deliver compliant, automated time collection and meaningful visibility into work across matters, teams, and clients. It will deploy Laurel globally with a structured implementation plan to ensure rapid adoption and integration into day-to-day workflows.
Joby Tyler, Chief Information Officer at Watson Farley & Williams, said:
“Our evaluation process was deliberate and thorough. We needed a platform that could operate at global scale while integrating seamlessly into how our lawyers’ work. Laurel stood out for end-user experience, its ability to capture and structure time data efficiently and accurately, and turn this into actionable insights. Feedback from existing customers was incredibly positive, the deployment so far has been fast and smooth, and the Laurel team responsive and agile.”
Lindsey Keeble, Managing Partner at Watson Farley & Williams, added:
“We are excited to team up with Laurel as our global AI time partner. This is one of many strategic steps we are taking on our innovation journey. It will help us better understand how work actually gets done across our offices, while also making daily life easier for everyone who records time. With clearer visibility and a smoother process, we’ll be able to make better decisions, improve client service and move toward a more modern, practical way of working.”
Ryan Alshak, CEO and co-founder of Laurel, said:
“WFW ran a world-class evaluation process which set the bar for how law firms will evaluate their time and billing needs in the age of AI. Their decision to partner with Laurel and deploy across all 800 fee earners is a signal of their commitment to build the leading data-driven law firm. We are excited to partner with one of world’s leading firms to deliver that outcome.”
Emil Dyrvig, Chief Revenue Officer at Laurel, added:
“Selecting a single global platform and committing to full firmwide adoption from day one is a decisive move. WFW is not experimenting but are operationalizing AI across their entire organization. That is exactly what it takes to unlock real value.”
