Trezor, the hardware wallet used by more than 2 million people, launched stablecoin yield within Trezor Suite, powered by the Yield.xyz API. Users can now supply USDC and USDT to select Morpho V2 vaults directly from the app, without browser extensions, third-party wallet connections, or changes to their existing security setup.

Deposits route to two Morpho V2 vaults curated by Steakhouse Financial: the Steakhouse USDC Prime vault (trSHUSDCp) and the Steakhouse USDT Prime vault (trSHUSDTp). Rather than selecting from an open list of vaults, users deposit to pre-selected vaults chosen based on security and liquidity criteria.

Steakhouse Financial manages allocation across curated lending markets on Morpho, monitors rates, and reallocates liquidity within predefined risk parameters. Yield is generated by borrowers paying interest to access the deposited stablecoins.

Trezor's security model carries through the full transaction flow. Every deposit, withdrawal, and reward claim is signed on the hardware device using Clear Signing, which translates each smart contract interaction into plain language before the user confirms.

Private keys remain on the device even while capital is deployed. Each deposit returns an ERC-20 receipt token — trSHUSDCp or trSHUSDTp — representing the depositor's share. In the event Trezor Suite is unavailable, the receipt token can be used to withdraw through any compatible Ethereum interface.

"Our users have been asking for a way to put their stablecoins to work without giving up the security guarantees Trezor provides. The integration with Yield.xyz and Morpho makes that possible: every transaction goes through Clear Signing on the device, and the security model doesn't change when capital is deployed," said Danny Sanders, Chief Commercial Officer.

Trezor built the integration through a single connection to the Yield.xyz API. Yield.xyz provides a unified discovery and execution layer for onchain yield, normalizing staking, lending, and DeFi vaults across 80+ networks into a single schema. Vault data, yield routing, and onchain execution are all handled through that connection without per-protocol engineering work on Trezor's end.

"Trezor has more than 2 million users who already trust the device with their assets. With one API connection, Trezor now offers stablecoin yield on Morpho without building vault selection, routing, or onchain execution themselves. That's the integration model we've built Yield.xyz around," said Serafin Lion Engel, CEO, Yield.xyz.

The feature is available now on desktop for any Trezor device running universal firmware, with mobile support rolling out this Summer. Users can access it by opening Trezor Suite, navigating to the Earn tab, and scrolling to the Stablecoin Yield section.
