WASHINGTON, DC, September 1, 2026 (EZ Newswire) -- In celebration of National PACE Month this September (#NationalPACEMonth), the National PACE Association (NPA) today launched the #ThankYouPACE campaign, recognizing the life-changing impact of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
Now spanning more than 200 programs nationwide and serving over 100,000 older Americans, PACE helps seniors live safely, independently, and with dignity in their communities.
PACE is a proven, community-based model that integrates medical care, social services, and daily support. Interdisciplinary care teams — including primary care providers, nurses, social workers, therapists, home care coordinators, and transportation staff — work together to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care.
Through services such as prescription coverage, medical care, meals, and transportation, PACE significantly improves quality of life for participants and their caregivers. Notably, 94% of PACE participants continue living in their communities, rather than in institutional settings.
The importance of programs like PACE continues to grow as the United States approaches a major demographic milestone. By 2030, all baby boomers will be age 65 or older, and by 2034, older adults will outnumber children for the first time in U.S. history. This shift presents challenges for older adults and their families, from access to affordable housing and caregiver support to workforce shortages, long-term care financing, and the need for technology that enables safety and independence. PACE provides unique solutions to address each of these challenges.
Throughout September, PACE organizations across the country will host events celebrating their communities and the people they serve. As part of the #ThankYouPACE campaign, individuals are invited to share stories and messages of appreciation.
Throughout the month, PACE centers will hold special events celebrating the work they do in their communities.
