Pirix, a media and marketing agency, in collaboration with Oppenheimer & Co., hosted the Investment Mindset Series in New York. Bringing together a curated group of women founders, executives, and operators to explore how wealth is built, beyond income.
Held during March, a month globally associated with women-focused initiatives and International Women’s Day, the event addressed a growing shift; as women reach higher levels of income and leadership, the question is no longer only how to earn but how to allocate, protect, and grow capital over time. Focused on the importance of capital allocation over income, emphasizing that in an increasingly volatile and technology-driven economy, financial resilience depends on how capital is structured and deployed, not just earned.
The evening combined perspectives from finance to investment, neuroscience, and technology to examine how evolving systems are reshaping decision-making:
Speakers emphasized that investment decisions today must account not only for financial markets but also for how technology is redefining work, income stability, and long-term mindset building.
Neuroscience insights explored how the brain responds to stress, memory, and aging, particularly relevant as women often reach peak earning years while also facing cognitive and physiological shifts, making brain health and decision-making frameworks critical to long-term performance.
Rather than focusing on short-term financial tactics, the series centered on systems thinking — encouraging participants to evaluate capital, health, and knowledge as interconnected assets.
The event was moderated by Leila Doering and featured sessions by Morgan Newman and Amber Soden (Financial Advisors of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.), Dr. Piray Atsak (Wizbe), and a fireside conversation with Cigdem Oztabak (Pirix Media House), and Carolina Alduey (Clarity Network, Good Sponsors).
