RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, July 29, 2026 (EZ Newswire) -- The Global Investment Summit will hold its first edition at the Palais des Congrès in Paris on September 1–2, the opening event in a five-year series organized by the Saudi investment group B&S Investments. The series runs from Paris in 2026 through Spain, London, and Geneva, and concludes in Riyadh in 2030.

Organizers have positioned the summit as a working platform for the Gulf Cooperation Council rather than a conference of set-piece speeches. The Paris program combines keynote sessions with bilateral meetings arranged in advance for investors and company principals, and it runs alongside an exhibition where participating organizations present projects to potential partners.

The summit targets an initial pipeline of approximately USD 28.59 billion in European investment into the GCC, a figure the organizers project will rise to USD 50 billion by 2030. Priority sectors for the series include energy, technology and artificial intelligence, financial services, real estate, and tourism.

The summit platform also includes a marketplace function where participants can post and review specific investment opportunities before the event, part of an effort to make the two days in Paris transactional. Meeting requests can be submitted in advance so that principals arrive with a schedule of counterparts already in place.

More than 2,000 participants are expected in Paris, including institutional investors, corporate executives, and public-sector officials, with more than 80 speakers scheduled across the two days. Participating delegations are drawn from Saudi Arabia, France, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.

Each edition of the series is intended to carry forward the opportunities identified at the previous one so that a project introduced in Paris can be advanced in Spain or London and closed later in the cycle. The organizers say this structure is meant to hold participants to measurable results so the conversation does not restart at every stop.

The Paris edition also publishes target measures for its 2026 program, including a 55% environmental, social, and governance adoption rate among featured opportunities and a 25% share directed to technology investment.

The organizers plan to publish research through the summit platform, including a Global Investment Outlook and data on projected investment flows, material intended to give participants a shared reference before and after the meetings.

"GIS 2026 represents the first chapter of an institutionalized global series designed to frame the GCC not as a collection of competing markets, but as a coordinated investment architecture," said Bader Al-Nofai, CEO of B&S Investments. Organizers say the Paris edition will establish the operating model for the four editions that follow.
