Veterans Organizations Call on Congress, VA to Reduce Surgical Wait Times in VA Facilities

Today, Veterans Need Care Now, a grassroots coalition committed to reducing surgical wait times in U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities, released the results of a new survey of voters and veteran households that found veterans and their families continue to experience critical health care delays at VA facilities. The coalition, comprised of veteran and health care provider organizations, is urging the VA to take urgent action to ensure that veterans have timely access to surgical care in the VA healthcare system.

Six years after news reports and court documents first showed veterans were experiencing significant wait times accessing surgical and other healthcare in the Veterans Health Administration, a national omnibus survey conducted by Veterans Need Care Now has found that more than one in five (23%) of veteran households still report delays in securing VA health appointments and surgical procedures. Of these delays, 13% were viewed as major problems for veterans and their families.

"As a service member for 30 years in the US Navy, I witnessed first-hand the outstanding capabilities and performance of CRNAs as well as the care they deliver, in a wide variety of environments. They should be able to give the same depth and scope of care for our Nation's veterans," said Captain Kathryn Beasley, US Navy - Retired.

In 2016, the VA issued a final rule granting three of the four advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) specialties full practice authority, allowing them to practice to the full scope of their education and training, excluding only CRNAs. Since then, reports have continuously highlighted a lack of access to anesthesia services in the VA, which the APRN final rule cited as a reason to revisit the decision to leave CRNAs out. According to the Veterans Need Care Now survey, the vast majority (79%) of voters agree that the VA is not giving veterans the timely, quality care they deserve, with 55% agreeing strongly.

"Today, more than 1,000 CRNAs, many of whom are veterans themselves, serve in the Veterans Health Administration, providing the highest quality care to our nation's veterans," said Dina Velocci, DNP, CRNA, APRN, AANA president. "Our veterans are enduring dangerously long wait times for anesthesia and other care – much of it due to the chronic underutilization of CRNAs in VA facilities. Veterans simply can't wait any longer. It's time for our leaders to act."

Nationwide, CRNAs deliver more than 49 million anesthetics each year and practice in every setting from hospital emergency rooms to ambulatory surgical centers. CRNAs have historically provided much of the anesthesia to our active-duty military in combat arenas since World War I and predominate in veterans' hospitals and the U.S. Armed Services, where they enjoy full practice authority in every branch of the military.

Alurx Establishes the "W" for Wellness in DEI&W

Start-ups are by nature the most dynamic types of business and embrace cultural and societal changes faster than the establishment. DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) is the catalyst of such changes and the cornerstone of Julia Stewart's entrepreneurial venture, the wellness brand, Alurx.

During her forty years in the hospitality industry, she encountered many roadblocks when driving meaningful change. Ultimately, she realized that creating her own business embedded in DEI and adding "wellness for all" to her company's mission were the only way to ensure transformational change. As a female founder, Julia Stewart chose DEI as the fundamental principle and collective mission for her business, and added another essential component, Wellness. At Alurx, it means working with other female founders, partnering with minority businesses and creating opportunities for everyone who joins Alurx. Each team member's development and engagement in the brand is vital. Alurx's mission is to create proactive wellness plans, vetted by its medical council, and to help everyone who ultimately engages with the brand, to live healthier and longer lives. She insists that, "DEI&W is not a slogan—it is a mindset. We breathe it, live it, and work at it together, every day."

She also calls on the healthcare industry to rethink their DEI approach, focus on wellness for team members and customers alike, and to address structural inequalities head on. She explains that committing to DEI&W should go well beyond implementing new HR policies to the standardized list of corporate do's and don'ts with the aim of improving team members' retention and appealing to ethically conscious consumers. DEI&W is about "walking the walk" and working together with other local and national companies to drive change faster.

Julia Stewart and her team are building an all-in-one wellness hub and will launch the Alurx App in early 2023. This powerful new tool will guide people on their personalized wellness journey across all major need states, such as sleep health, skin health and mental health, with the support of the Alurx Medical & Expert Council.

Jump-Start Success at School with Wellness at Home

Setting the stage for success in the classroom starts with reliable morning routines the whole family can depend on. Establishing a plan for each day before heading off for work or school is beneficial for staying on time and organized, and many families' mornings start with a nutritious breakfast.

This school year, add better-for-you breakfast recipes like Orange Oatmeal or an Orangeberry Smoothie to the menu. These morning meals are powered by 100% orange juice, a delicious option that helps fuel the body with essential nutrients that support a healthy immune system and overall diet quality with no added sugar.

"A growing number of research studies has revealed children who regularly drink 100% orange juice have higher intakes of key nutrients, higher quality diets and may have healthier lifestyle habits, like greater physical activity levels, than children who do not drink OJ," said Dr. Rosa Walsh, director of scientific research at the Florida Department of Citrus. "Study after study confirms that 100% orange juice not only has a place in the diets of children, but it can also serve as an easy way for parents to provide key nutrients without fear of adverse effects on body weight when served in moderation."

Consider these nutritional benefits of Florida Orange Juice, "The Original Wellness Drink."

Diet Quality

Because 1 cup of 100% orange juice counts as 1 cup of fruit, it's an easy way to contribute to your children's fruit intake. As a kid-favorite, it's a nutrient-dense beverage that helps increase the intake of key nutrients including vitamin C, folate, thiamin, magnesium, potassium and, in fortified juices, vitamin D and calcium.

Immune Support

When paired with a healthy lifestyle, Florida Orange Juice has vitamin C, vitamin D (in fortified juices) and phytonutrients (naturally occurring plant compounds) and may help support a strong immune system.

  • Vitamin C – Commonly associated with helping maintain and strengthen a healthy immune system by protecting cells and promoting the production and function of cells. One 6-8-ounce glass of OJ is an excellent source.
  • Vitamin D – Plays an important role in regulating immune response and helps cells fight off bacteria and viruses that get into the body. One 6-8-ounce glass of fortified OJ is a good source.
  • Plant Compounds, Flavonoids and Colorful Carotenoids – Work to support the immune system by helping to fight inflammation and helping cells communicate with each other, which can help strengthen immune response when encountering infection.

No Added Sugar

Unlike foods and beverages that contain added sugars, the natural sugar in 100% orange juice contains vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. As one of nature's nutrient-rich foods, OJ is a convenient way to enhance whole fruit intake and reach daily recommendations. Plus, it can be used as a substitute for nutrient-poor foods and beverages, such as sugar-sweetened beverages, in the diets of children and adults.

5 Ways to Support Teachers This Fall

Throughout the pandemic, teachers have gone above and beyond for their students, becoming not just educators, but also counselors, role models and friends to their students by supporting their overall well-being.

Even so, only 52% of teachers feel valued by their communities, according to PDK International, a professional association for educators. What's more, teachers are more burnt out than ever, with 81% reporting their workloads have increased and 55% sharing they have less time for planning than before, according to a State of Teaching survey conducted by Adopt a Classroom.

Heading back to school means stocking up on supplies, updating wardrobes and planning new routines for hassle-free mornings. This fall, as you prepare for the new school year, consider these ideas for supporting your children's teachers, too:

Volunteer in the Classroom

With the extra roles and responsibilities many teachers have taken on in recent years, there aren't enough hours in the day to complete special projects or keep up with certain tasks. Ask teachers how you can lend a hand. That might mean spending some time physically in the classroom, or there may be ways you can support your children's classes from home, such as assembling instructional packets or researching field trip ideas.

Recognize Teachers Who Go Above and Beyond

Chances are good you know at least a few educators who have gone beyond the call of duty and made an exceptional impact on their students. Honoring their contributions shows appreciation for all they do. One way to demonstrate your gratitude is by nominating educators for Staples' fourth annual #ThankATeacher contest, which recognizes 20 stand-out educators who go above and beyond for their students. Winners' schools will be awarded $5,000 in classroom essentials for the upcoming school year. Learn more about how to nominate a teacher at staplesconnect.com/thankateacher or watch this video.

Be a Partner in Your Child's Learning at Home

Supporting teachers isn't just about the classroom and supplies; you can also provide a helping hand by creating good habits and modeling the importance of education at home. Actions like creating routines that keep students on a comfortable, familiar schedule help teachers manage classrooms more effectively. You can also make communication with your children's teachers a priority so you're aware of concerns and can help address them early.

Donate School Supplies

Often, teachers dip into their own income to create fun, engaging learning experiences and supplement student supplies when they run low. In fact, the average teacher spends $745 on supplies for their classrooms that are not covered by school budgets. According to Adopt a Classroom's State of Teaching survey, 71% of teachers spent more of their own money on classroom materials in 2022 than during the previous year.

You can ask teachers what supplies they need, or you can give back to teachers through Staples' Classroom Rewards program. Join for free and earn 5% back on every qualifying purchase for you and 10% back of qualifying purchases to donate to local teachers. The program helps reduce teachers' out of pocket costs for their classrooms by allowing them to earn up to $2,000 a year.

Attend School Board Meetings and Voice Support

Keeping tabs on the issues affecting your school district and teachers is an important part of monitoring and advocating for your children's education, but it's also a way for you to lend your support on topics affecting teachers. Stay informed about issues that matter to your children's teachers and support school board policies and actions that serve teachers' best interests.

Louder.ai Launches "Political Ads Powered by the People"

Louder.ai (www.louder.ai), a new, disruptive political and not-for-profit advertising technology platform, has announced that ads initially funded by a candidate, political action committee or any other cause can now "go viral" when supporters donate directly to the ad's budget with the click of a button after seeing it online.

"We have launched a patent-pending, easy-to-use ad tech platform that essentially straps a booster rocket to any ad," said Louder.ai CEO William Gorfein. "The booster rocket gets refueled by supporters who see the digital ads and donate directly to fund the ad itself. That means that instead of an ad relying on its original budget to make a splash, the ad can continue to generate impressions. It's another way people can really get behind candidates, causes and messages they believe in. And we believe that Louder can be a significant factor in close political races where every advertising dollar matters."

Louder.ai's advertising technology platform equips every ad with the ability to "go further," Gorfein added. "Now, the only question is, 'Do you want to launch ads that rely on your original ad budget, or do you want to spend the very same budget on ads that can be refueled by every single person who sees them?'"

The initial seed funding for Louder.ai came from Proactive Capital Partners, a leading, New York-based institutional fund with a focus on high growth investments. Additional seed funding came from the Softeq Venture Studio, a Houston-based early stage investment fund founded by software pioneer and serial entrepreneur Chris Howard.

We look for innovative and disruptive companies with scalable technologies," said Proactive Co-Founder Jeff Ramson. "Louder is an ideal platform for political candidates, political action committees and not-for-profits to spread their messaging far and wide. Especially given the current political climate, Louder is well positioned to be a major participant at the interface of the advertising and social networking sectors."

Louder.ai used some of its early funding to submit multiple patent applications to protect its business processes and technology and to retain Attorney Scott Thomas, the former Federal Elections Commissioner for the Reagan, Bush and Clinton Administrations, as counsel. The Advisory Board includes Bret Siarkowski, one of the founders of Causemo, the not-for-profit data analytics company later acquired by The Pursuant Group.

"We feel that Louder will become part of the fabric of political and cause-based advertising of every kind, around the world," Will Gorfein said. "We're building this company for speed, but also for the lasting value it will bring to candidates, campaigns, causes and individuals. This is a new way for people to speak their minds—by putting their money behind ads that say what they believe."

FitVine Wine Introduces Their NEW North Coast Cabernet Reserve

FitVine Wine, the maker of delicious, low-sugar, full bodied wines, is introducing the brand's new North Coast Cabernet Reserve. The silky smooth, high-quality Cabernet from the grapes of California's North Coast is now available online on FitVineWine.com. FitVine Wine was created for people who want to enjoy a balanced lifestyle filled with fun, fitness, relaxation, and of course, really good wine.

"Our North Coast Cabernet Reserve is a very special addition to the FitVine family of wines," said Tom Beaton, CEO and co-founder of FitVine Wine. "There are two factors that impact the flavor of wine: the grapes and the fermentation process. The grapes for this new variety come from the North Coast of California. They are picked at the perfect moment and go through the same fermentation process as our other varietals. We take an 'old world wine' approach and ferment our wines for as long as possible to get deep flavor while reducing residual sugar. That's how we get them to taste so good while maintaining low sugar content, no flavor additives, and only the good stuff!"

FitVine Wine is a pioneer of the better-for-you (BFY) wine category. Nevertheless, it could be said that the brand is in a category of its own. FitVine Wine is full-bodied and full-alcohol like traditional wines but contains no flavor additives and is processed to be gluten-free and is 100% vegan. So FitVine can really play to both sides of the coin and be enjoyed by people who like the flavor of traditional wines but want a wine that has no flavor additives and is transparent with their nutritional label. It's a win-win for wine lovers!

"Our new North Coast Cabernet Reserve is no exception to our really good, low-sugar, no-nonsense wines for people who want a high-quality, less pretentious wine at a good price," said Mark Warren, president and co-founder of FitVine Wine. "Our fans know that our wine contains the best possible ingredients and is crafted with the cleanest possible process. People deserve a good wine. That's why we do what we do."

Order your new favorite wine online on FitVineWine.com (Continental U.S.). The SRP for FitVine's new North Coast Cabernet Reserve is $19.99.

AvoMD Enters into Content Licensing Agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians

AvoMD, a next-generation, application-based clinical decision support platform, is working with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) to transform algorithms developed by the AAFP journal American Family Physician (AFP) into actionable, instant guidance at the point-of-care. The partnership will begin with 20 commonly used algorithms from the AAFP's AFP, including those that focus on Hypothyroidism, Abnormal Uterine Bleeding in Premenopausal Women and Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome.

Family physicians are among the busiest of all providers, having 82 patient encounters per week on average. In addition to comprehensive, preventive care, they perform a wide variety of services and procedures encompassing behavioral health care, chronic care management, pediatric and geriatric medicine, urgent care, skin procedures (e.g., biopsies), musculoskeletal injections and more. Because family physicians serve such a great volume of vastly different types of patients, having instant, point-of-care access to expert guidance in the form of algorithms is essential in ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.

AvoMD's cloud-based solution - which will be available on AvoMD's web and mobile apps and accessible in the Electronic Health Record - supports and strengthens the ability of family physicians to provide critical services to patients of all ages. The tool empowers family physicians to deliver the best possible care tailored to individual patient needs. Healthcare organizations will have the ability to use AvoMD's no-code content management tool to customize the offering for local needs.

AvoMD co-founder and CEO Dr. Yair Saperstein commented, "We are thrilled to partner with the AAFP, the authority on family medicine and the largest medical society devoted solely to primary care. Combining the AAFP's clinical expertise with AvoMD's decision support technology furthers our shared mission of equipping primary care physicians and their support teams with the tools and expertise to provide high-quality, evidence-based care. We are excited to provide this offering to our growing base of health system customers and clinician users."

Rove Launches Ice Hash Live Rosin, the Cleanest Full-flower Experience Made from Hand-Pressed Cannabis

Rove Premier, a new-for-2022 suite of cannabis products from legacy and national cannabis manufacturer Rove, today announces the release of Ice Hash Live Rosin. This rosin launch is the latest innovation from Rove, known for transparency in sourcing and forward-looking manufacturing techniques. Ice Hash Live Rosin is a solventless extract produced through a heritage process utilizing only ice, heat, pressure and water. New Ice Hash Live Rosin by Rove is available now in California, in three strains and two formats. Other Rove markets will begin to carry Ice Hash Live Rosin later in 2022.

The Ice Hash Live Rosin user experience is consistent with Rove's award-winning legacy vapes, upgraded with a premium, terpene-rich, flower high. Made from 100% cannabis, without any chemicals or additives, the Live Rosin is produced in a rare, artisan process. Fresh-frozen cannabis trichomes are separated from the plant using an ice-bath process to produce top-grade, 5-6 star ice hash. The ice hash is cold-pressed by hand to produce a terpene-rich rosin, and then cold-cured for two weeks to produce the perfect texture for dabbing. The resulting rosin is never refined, and is either sent to shelves as a dabbable concentrate or placed through a slow-melt process for another 96 hours to become ready to vape. Truly a 100% solventless process, there are no solvents used at any point in production.

Rove President Paul Jacobson says, "Our new Ice Hash Live Rosin takes this traditional process of cold-pressing cannabis and supercharges it with best-in-class sourcing and  years of commitment to cutting edge technology to offer the most authentic, enjoyable cannabis experience possible. Our new Live Rosin products really are the most authentic, cleanest full-flower cannabis experience."

New Ice Hash strains include an indica called Tropaya, a sativa called Chocolope and a hybrid called Fatso. Available formats include a one-gram solventless, dab-ready concentrate and a half-gram, pen-ready vape. The brand suggests the concentrate is best enjoyed using Rove's proprietary, low-temperature 510 thread rosin cartridge that the company spent over six years continuously optimizing, and allows the thicker live rosin material to flow easily into the atomizer for a premium cannabis experience. All Rove Ice Hash Live Rosin products are produced using fresh-frozen and single-sourced whole flower.

Rove Premier is a step into the future of genetics, sourcing hand-picked exotics from around the world and developing exclusive, limited strain-runs for a next-level cannabis experience.

Avocados from Peru Celebrates National Avocado Day by Giving Back to Local Communities

National Avocado Day is fast approaching, and Avocados from Peru (AFP) is celebrating America's favorite superfood by giving back to local communities and unveiling the ultimate demo machine – the AFP Food Truck.

To celebrate National Avocado Day on July 31, AFP kicked off its week of festivities in Philadelphia. For the second year in a row, AFP teamed up with GIANT to donate 50,000 avocados to Philabundance, the city's largest food bank and an affiliate organization of Feeding America. The donation was announced at theAnnual Top Guac Championship, hosted by AFP, GIANT, and Philabundance, where amateur chefs competed to make the best guacamole in Philadelphia. The event was attended by leaders in the city's food scene and representatives from AFP, GIANT, Philabundance and Feeding America.

A special guest at the event, the brand-new AFP Food Truck, in partnership with the Peruvian Brothers, made its official debut in the city of Philadelphia. The food truck was used as a backdrop and a GIANT trailer to haul the 50,000 avocados donated to charity.

"Avocados hold a special place in our hearts and our culture, so celebrating them for National Avocado Day is easy. Moreover, giving back to communities in need makes the celebration even more special," said Xavier Equihua, President of the Peruvian Avocado Commission, "We are proud to support such impactful philanthropies as Philabundance and Feeding America, and what better way to do that than through avocados and bringing the community together."

"We are so grateful that Avocados from Peru chose to support our organization and the important work we do to impact our community. The avocados will go a long way in supporting and feeding those in need," said Loree D. Jones, Chief Executive Officer at Philabundance, "These contributions will help many in need throughout the communities we serve."

"The GIANT Company is committed to eliminating hunger in the communities we serve," said Emine Boz, Community Impact Coordinator at The GIANT Company, "Together with Avocados from Peru and Philabundance, we're able to do just that and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors facing food insecurity."

The National Avocado Day celebrations do not stop there! AFP was invited by FOX 5 D.C. to participate in their Zip Trips programming – a weekly series that highlights the best spots to visit around the D.C. region. On Friday, July 29, AFP will be live at the Port City Brewing Company in Alexandria, Virginia (3950 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22304) until 11:00 AM. Vantage Health Technologies Reveals Data on the State of U.S. Health Equity

Vantage Health Technologies a part of the BroadReach Group, a global social enterprise with nearly two decades of experience combining technology innovation with deep healthcare expertise, today announced the results of its first annual State of U.S. Health Equity Survey. The survey found that while the industry sees health equity as incredibly important, there are few tangible steps and plans in place to address it.

In June and July of 2022, Vantage Health Technologies surveyed nearly 200 (192) executives and senior decision-makers within payers, providers and other healthcare stakeholders to understand how organizations address health inequities within their plans. The results found that while 95% of respondents believe that health equity is important for their organization to address, nearly half (43.5%) of the respondents said their organization has no roadmap to address health equity across their people, process and technology. Additionally, 45.3% have only a partial or ad hoc roadmap plan. Of them, 53% are unsure if it will be a priority in the next 12-18 months. Surprisingly, only 8% said that it would be a priority.

Additional top findings are as follows:

  • 43.8% of those surveyed don't know if they have any race, ethnicity or language data on their care population, and only 4.2% have this data on 75-100% of their population.
  • 44.3% of those surveyed do not provide culturally and linguistically appropriate, person-centered care today and only provide care in English. While more than half are trying — 55.7% say they do this in some instances but not all and that there is room for improvement.
  • 55.2% of organizations did not have racial or linguistic data on their employees
  • Top barriers to implementing health equity initiatives were self-reported to included: budget, lack of or outdated systems, data challenges, leadership, guidelines and governance, resource limitations (including human resources), timing and prioritization, training and knowledge, and others.

"The data clearly shows the U.S. is still in its early days of addressing health inequities," said Dr. John Sargent, founder Vantage Health Technologies and BroadReach Group. "While health systems work to improve data collection, technologies can be implemented now to help identify areas for improvement and create a clear roadmap. The most important thing is that payers and providers meet patients where they're at and provide tailored care."

"For true improvement in health equity, unless your population is totally homogeneous, you're actually going to have to address things in a much more targeted way," says Dr. Chris Esguerra, the chief medical officer for Health Plan of San Mateo and one of Vantage's medical advisors in the survey. "Everyone focuses on data — or lack of data — as a gap and gets stuck there. Data is the thing that will help you understand that there is a problem, but do you know how to understand the problem?"

Vantage Health Technologies works with payers and providers to implement AI-enabled solutions that suggest health interventions for underserved populations to reduce health inequities. These kinds of inequities cost the U.S. healthcare system $320 billion annually and if left unchecked, these costs are estimated to rise to $1 trillion or more by 2040. For more information, visit www.vantagehealth.tech.

Full market survey will be released and discussed on July 28, 2022; click here to register for the event or here to get the survey.

CBD Study Shows Reduced Stress in Animals During Transport

HempMy Pet and Tarleton University, a member of the Texas A&M university system, are excited to announce positive results of their Cannabidiol (CBD) Equine Study focusing on the stress of transportation and a myriad of behaviors.

Tarleton University has completed its study using HempMy Pet's Full Spectrum Abacus CBD oil on horses with great success. The objective of the research program was to explore opportunities that full spectrum CBD oil may provide to the livestock industry as a tool to mediate stressors, minimize injury during transport and handling, and promote health by minimizing overstimulation of the hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenal glands, commonly called the HPA axis.

The research demonstrated that higher doses of CBD (.6mg/kg of body weight) are more effective overall compared to lower doses of CBD (.3mg/kg of body weight). In both dosages, CBD was non-detectable after 24 hours with the highest blood concentration levels peaking at four hours after it was administered.

There was no difference observed in the effects of CBD in male and female horses, but there was an increase in feed eating times in both the low and higher CBD dosages. The higher dosage was seen to have a much longer feed time compared to the lower dosage.

Research showed there was a decrease in cortisol levels in the transportation portion of the study and that there were not any long-lasting effects of the CBD in both the low and high dosages.

Environmental stressors such as handling, transport, and housing can affect aspects of a horse's behavior, such as weight gain and feed efficiency, in addition to stimulating stereotypic behaviors, such as bar biting, self-mutilation, and excessive aggression. CBD has been shown to decrease anxiety from a variety of stimuli in previous studies of both dogs and mice and researchers were thrilled to see similar results with horses.

Dr. Kimberly Guay, Ph.D., P.A.S., Tarleton University states, "My research goals are to perform as many projects as necessary to better understand the physiological and behavioral responses of animals when they consume CBD and Hemp processing byproducts such as hempseed meal. It is important to recognize the differences in these products so that we can categorize and utilize them in safe and useful ways. There is still much to be done, and we will continue to fill in the blanks that remain regarding these products in our animals. I have much respect for companies like HempMy Pet for making the responsible and conscientious decision to subject their products for unbiased analysis."

Natalie Mondine, HempMy Pet Co-Founder and COO, says, "This is our second clinical trial study overall, but it is the first study we have done with horses, and we are very pleased with the results. Being approached by Tarleton University to collaborate on a study was very exciting for us, as it shows that the interest in the therapeutic benefits of hemp are valid and have a real future in medicine. If we look at the science and data behind all of the research that has been done so far, it's impossible to ignore that CBD and hemp derivatives have an overwhelmingly positive effect on a myriad of health concerns and are a real alternative to pharmaceuticals."

ARC Facilities Introduces Turnkey Facility Management App for Schools

Recently, ARC Facilities, a leading provider of facility management solutions, introduced an app geared specifically for schools.

The idea for the app was born out of need: A K-2 school in Flora arrived at ARC's offices looking for a solution to manage critical building data. The school's building manager met with Rahul Roy, ARC's CTO, and remarked, "I am renovating my educational facility but am having trouble in workflow management and sharing data to my team, causing unnecessary delays. Do you have a tool that can help with education facilities management?” Upon hearing this, Roy went to work to develop a software solution that saves time and makes it easy for facility managers in education to manage their data.

ARC's facility management software app comes with separate modules, including as-builts drawings, emergency information, equipment information, shut-off locations with photos and instructions, and more. Each of these modules brings multiple features like access to critical building data such as emergency evacuation routes, equipment details, location of assets, HVAC assets, and scanning data with QR codes.

Furthermore, ARC also offers a value calculator for educational facilities absolutely for free. This value calculator helps building managers to calculate hidden costs and plan their budgets accordingly.

For more information and to learn how to simplify facility management software for schools, visit: www.arcfacilities.com/product.
