EurekaMag, a digital library in business for nearly two decades, has now completed delivery of 100,000 scanned articles with an average of 15–20 articles per day.

Since the establishment of the site, the following 5 genres of scientific literature have emerged as the most wanted:

  • Biomedical literature published in Europe and cited at PubMed: This genre is composed of hundreds of journals published mainly in Italy, France, Germany, several East European countries and Russia. Examples of such journals include: Khirurgiia, Polski Merkuriusz Lekarski, Läkartidningen, Der Urologe, Wiadomosci lekarskie, Hepato-Gastroenterology, Medicinski Arhiv and many more.
  • Pharmaceutical literature published in Europe and cited at PubMed: Many of these journals are published in Germany: Clinical Laboratory, International Journal of Clinical Pharmacology Research, Plucne Bolesti, Folia Medica, Eksperimental'naia i Klinicheskaia Farmakologiia, Arzneimittel-Forschung and many more.
  • Zoological and entomological literature published in Europe with many dating back to the 19th century or earlier: Entomologische Abhandlungen, Entomologicheskoe Obozrenie, Entomologiske Meddelelser, Memorie della Societa Entomologica Italiana, Revue Francaise d'Entomologie, Trudy Zoologicheskogo Instituta, animma.x and many more.

Many customers order articles which are referenced in databases such as PubMed, BIOSIS Previews, CAB Abstracts, Zoological Record, GeoRef, Pascal & Francis and ERIC. All articles included in these databases can be ordered from EurekaMag. Since millions of scientific articles indexed at EurekaMag do not appear in Google’s general or scholarly search, every article can be found at EurekaMag's Literature Search. A search for article title, source, PubMed ID or DOI takes no longer than 0.1 seconds and is therefore equally fast as Google.

Due to customer demand, EurekaMag is is now digitizing rare books, book series and journals not available through libraries, auctions or other marketplaces. This content is the result of custom requests for scientific materials submitted through the site’s Custom Request page. Through this page, customers can order any article or book chapter not already available on the site. EurekaMag cooperates with a renown European library to retrieve such texts from any library worldwide. This can take up to 7–10 workdays but the fill rate is beyond 90%.

EurekaMag adds about 1,000–50,000 newly published articles to its database of currently 79 million entries every day. Even if such electronically published articles are associated with a DOI, the articles may only be available if a subscription to the journal exists. Here lies another great advantage of using EurekaMag since it can retrieve such subscription content through its supplying libraries at regular cost.

The newest additions are available through its homepage, "Scholarly Literature" page and through its Literature Search page. EurekaMag uses its social media pages at Bluesky and LinkedIn communicating these new articles as they are delivered to customers. The real-time X feed is online since 2010 and remains the best option of keeping up-to-date with EurekaMag’s offerings.

EurekaMag charges $29.90 for each library-scanned article and $19.90 for electronically published articles. The latter articles get delivered by email between 0-6 hours. Scanned articles are emailed once received from a library within 1 workday. For institutional or business customers, EurekaMag supplies all articles (scanned and electronically published) at a flat rate of $19.90 per article. For the latter rate, please contact EurekaMag with an institutional or company email address.
