SALISBURY, NC -- We’re excited to announce the promotion of Guy Hoskins to Senior Executive Vice President.

Contributing greatly in his role as Chief Financial Officer, Guy has committed the past 26 years to serving our clients at F&M Bank. Guy oversees the Bank’s financial, investment and audit systems and related controls, and he currently serves on our Corporate Management Committee, Bank Management Committee and Senior Loan Committee.

Like many of our team members, Guy has a long history with F&M Bank. He started as the Bank’s Corporate Controller in 1996, was named Chief Financial Officer in 1998 and joined the Bank’s Board of Directors for F&M Financial Corporation, F&M Bank and F&M Investment Services in 2011.

Guy received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and earned the status of Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining F&M Bank, Guy spent 10 years with KPMG, a global firm that provides audit, tax and advisory services. With over 35 years of experience, Guy’s expertise has made a significant impact on the Bank’s financial standing, investments, capital structure and overall growth.

Loyal to F&M Bank’s tradition of community service, Guy has also served as a Board member for many local nonprofits including United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Community Care Clinic, Rowan Arts Council and Piedmont Players Theatre, among others. Guy has also invested in the next generation of leaders, by coaching many youth baseball and basketball teams over the years.
